Wollescote Fixtures and Results
Pedmore vs Wollescote - Football squad - 03/10/19
On Thursday 3rd October, Mr Horton and Mr Brookes took 14 pupils to participate in their first game of the season at Pedmore Primary school. The children tried their very best but fell short to a very strong side. The final score was 6-0 to Pedmore, special recognition goes to David for saving two penalties in goal and making some wonder saves, also Aidan for his amazing performance in defence. Even though the score wasn’t what we hoped, everyone gave maximum effort until the final whistle and showed great sportsmanship throughout.
Our Wollescote football team have taken part in 3 very challenging matches over the past few weeks. We are extremely proud of their hard work and resilience playing against the other school teams who all have very experienced players. The season has now finished until the spring and our team are now fully focussed on training and developing the squad ready for the next year. Each player has shown great strength in every match, promoted good sportsmanship and been a real ambassador for the Wollescote way.
